Multi-Day Safaris

Every day out in the bush is unique as you never know what you will see and experience. Still we want to give you an idea of the “daily routine” out in the bush:

Your day will start with a friendly wake-up call shortly before sunrise. After breakfast with coffee and tea, porridge or cereals, fruits and biscuits we start the day with an early morning game-drive. As we camp inside the national parks we on the road before all the day visitors arrive. Therefore in the early morning it is peaceful and light is still soft and perfect for beautiful shots. We will follow the fresh animal tracks from the previous night. If we are lucky we will be able to find cats which are still active in the early morning. As you never know what you will find every game-drive will boost your adrenaline. Around 9 am we will stop for another cup of coffee and tea.

Usually before noon we return to camp for a light lunch and some rest in the camp. You will have time for a refreshing shower, a little nap, reading a book or just relax in the shade. After afternoon tea around 3:30 pm we will start our afternoon game drive which lasts until sunset.

Alternatively -depending on your wishes- we can even stay out in the bush the whole day and return to camp in the late afternoon with sunset. In that case we will take along our light lunch and afternoon coffee/tea which we can then enjoy out in the bush somewhere under a shady tree.

In the evening you can have a quick shower before we gather around camp fire for a delicious dinner cooked over the open fire. We will end the day sitting under the amazing night sky full of twinkling stars enjoying the memories of the day.

On a day when we have to change campsite the schedule looks slightly different but you will equally enjoy it.

We will wake you up before sunrise and you have some time for your morning routine. After breakfast with coffee and tea, porridge or cereals, fruits and biscuits you quickly pack your bags for transport to the next camp. On a non-participatory safari you don’t have to worry about taking down the camp. Our camp staff will take care of everything.

Equipped with light lunch we will then start the (game-)drive to our next destination where we usually arrive in the early afternoon. The drive to the next camp is a long game-drive and we will stop now and then for stretching our legs and enjoy our lunch with a view.

When we arrive in the new campsite our staff will already have set up the new camp so you can enjoy a hot shower or just relax. After some rest in the new camp we head out for exploring the new surrounding on an afternoon game-drive.
