Day Tours

Pick up around 8 am at your accommodation in Maun.
We drive you to Boro poling station (approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes drive) and you will spend a lovely day in the Delta, learning about this unique ecosystem.

This activity is conducted by local Mokoro community guide. Your qualified guide will take you in a Mokoro (the traditional Aquatic mode of transport, dugout canoe) through the water channels of the Delta while you can relax and enjoy listening to birds‘ calls. The bird life in the Delta is spectacular. Also Hippos and crocodiles are a usual sight.

Optional: When you reach the island you will then stretch your legs and go for a guided walk. On the Island you will be able to see animals like Zebras, Elephant, Buffalos, Impalas, Giraffes and many more depending on the day. At times we even encounter lions. Your guide will share his knowledge about the animals and the entire environment. If you like you will get a chance to learn how to pole the mokoro.

Around 3 pm we pick you up at Boro poling station and drive you back to your accommodation in Maun.

Pick up from your accommodation at 05:30 am.
We drive with you in an open 4×4 game viewing vehicle to Moremi Game Reserve for spending the day in the reserve. Around 9 am we will stop for breakfast (tea, coffee and biscuits) and around midday we will find a nice place in the shade for a light lunch in the park. After lunch we will do another game drive before we head back to town and arrive Maun around 6 pm.

We drive you to a village near Boro poling station (approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes drive) and you will spend a day in the village learning about village life in the past and how it is nowadays.
Around 3 pm we pick you up and drive you back to your accommodation in Maun.

If you feel like you can go for a guided walk on an island in the Delta where you can encounter wildlife on ground level.
Around 5 pm you will be back at the boat station and we will bring you to your accommodation in Maun.

The 1 hour scenic flight starts from Maun airport. We recommend a flight either in the morning after sunrise or in the late afternoon when the light becomes soft and nice. We will pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation in Maun.

The scenic flight is also a perfect start or end of your multi-day safari! We can add this activity to your tailor-made tour.
